Customizations are generally changes to Service Desk that are not supportable by CA. With the r11.x releases CA provided the Web Screen Painter and Schema Designer to make implementing modifications and customizations easier. And while they will support these tools and what they are designed to do, they will not necessarily support the end result of your customization.
These changes are NEVER supported by CA:
- Custom spel scripts
- Custom javascripts
- Custom pdm_macros or changes to existing pdm_macros
- Custom Action Macro
- Custom Condition Macro (not to be confused with Site-Defined Condition Macro)
You can count on CA to support changes to the schema or web pages that utilize documented processes and procedures. (eg If you add a pdm_macro to a web page and it doesn't work as you anticipated, CA will support the resolution of your issue.)
