SDU is a free online user community focusing on CA's CA/Unicenter Service Desk application. It combines both forum and wiki software to provide a first of its kind level of support and knowledge to those in the business of supporting Service Desk.

Release to the public on February 8, 2008, SDU was founded by Gregg Smith (aka Gregg) and Jason Fix (aka Gityerfix) who collaborated in the past on a previous website.

SDU consists of these major components:

  • The FORUM provides a quick and simple platform for posting questions, finding solutions, or helping others.
  • The WIKI is an ever-growing library of Service Desk knowledge contributed by site members.
  • The CALENDAR is a good source for upcoming CA, industry, and SDU events.
  • The YELLOW PAGES are a listing of companies skilled in supporting Service Desk.
